Since January 1, 2023, De Lijn has switched to fully digital invoicing. This means that all outgoing invoices are provided as e-invoices according to the PEPPOL standard. 

From January 1, 2026, all VAT-liable companies must use structured electronic invoices for their B2B transactions. Sending a PDF invoice via email or a platform will no longer be possible.
